Fwiw, I was bored and called another boat company, blackjack. You may have heard of them.
They basically echoed bass cat's stance. The other kind is better than nothing but they recommend the strait to trailer traditional style.

Again reading not a strong point I see. I was refering to transom saver manufacturers. And no, never heard of them. Heard of allison and stroker though who disagree.
ETA: looked through quite a few pics online and no blackjack trailered had one on
Did you talk to the secretary or this the size company you get the owner when you place a random call?
