Any will do fine. Brand loyal people will point you in their direction but you can't go wrong with any of them. Think Canon just released the T5.

Pentax K-30 is great, if you want something weather sealed. I shoot pentax. You can get a Pentax K-500 (16 mp) on Amazon with the 18-55mm lens for $399.

Sony also makes very good entry level cameras.

Any of them will do the trick.
