Basically seeing LSU not live up to our potential

THIS
I attended and worked for LSU for 10 years. They had/have everything they needed to be ultra successful and screwed it up. They touched on turning things around with Emmert and then O'Keefe and Lombardi butted heads (Lombardi = moron), the economy tanked and BOOM- the dark ages of LSU. LSU has been cursed with bad administrators and lazy practices- remember James Welles? Hope he's still in prison.

That and parking- its always been bad. Way worse than the other Land grant state school I went to.

Same here, but 30 years ago, it was a shite hole then and every time I come back I am shocked to see t other than the football stadium, it has gotten worse rather than better, a winning football team is not going to help anyone get a job or into grad school. There are many maker schools in the U.S. that have none of LSU'S problems, they can attract professors for whom English is not a second language, and companies will interview any graduate not just those with a 3.5. I say if you still have time pack up and leave there is a better world waiting.
