That's a good strategy. On the other hand, I have also found success with going in hard with my number and walking if they don't meet it.

As soon as you get the vehicle, make sure to spray paint all the windows black behind the driver's row and write "Free Candy" on one side and "Come See the Puppies" on the other.
Kidding, but those vehicles are aging crappily.
I would recommend against an old MOPAR minivan; if you have to have a used minivan, go Nissan, Toyota or Honda. A domestic choice would include full-sized Chevy/GMCs or Astro/Safari FWDs.
