Takes about 30 minutes for mine to get to 180° with temperatures how they are(5 month old t-stats). Oil operating temps are 194-201. Takes 6 or 7hrs to cool back to ambient temperature
At almost $4/gal, no way am I letting it warm up for just running around town. If I am towing something I will. Otherwise, I just roll with it
