I won't need SS when I reach 65. I invest a similar amount to what I pay in SS taxes back each month and it will be worth much more than I will ever get in SS payments. If others would plan for the future as I do, they wouldnt need it either.

You don't know that.
The stock market can collapse, housing prices can collapse.
You could end up with nothing and be entirely dependent upon SS.
