Two things:

1. To those wondering if that is a wall, I would guess that it isn't. They probably are just waiting to put the glass in last b/c it is breakable.

2. Why did the designers choose to have higher roman arches for the sez than the nez? Is the master plan to build the same thing for te nez eventually? I hope not. Even if they dont I stil think it looks weird to have the roman arches 30 yards higher on the sez all of sudden.

Things to keep in mind:

The general seating in the SEZ expansion is for visitors. The old visitors seats in the lower bowl are going to LSU fans now.

So they didn't need a lot of general seating. This expansion was about adding premium seating.

With 66 suites in the new addition, LSU moves past Arkansas for 2nd most suites with 136 suites total. With 3,000+ club seats, LSU now has 6,200 stadium club seats.

That's a total of around 9,328 premium seats of all types, tops in the SEC.

Well, maybe it's because the SEZ is an actual upper deck. If they would've put the arches at the same height everything above them would've looked ridiculous.
