Went to a couple of Rangers games last year and all I kept thinking is that these Texas fans HAVE to be jealous of the ballpark in Houston... for A/C reasons...
Went last year the Sunday after LSU/TCU and it stayed around 103/104 ALL GAME LONG!
and we still averaged over 37,000 fans per game for the season
too me that's part of the experience.
Parks I've been too:
BPIA
Old Yankee Stadium
Fenway Park
Safeco
Old Tiger Stadium
I really liked Fenway, but didn't feel as if it lived up to the hype. It was against the yankees too. The BPIA is a really, really beautiful park. It's definitely my favorite, but I'm a homer.
My favorite baseball experience ever happened in Old Yankee Stadium. Went with my dad to see the last Rangers game ever in the old park, and in the 3rd game it was tied 2-2 going into the 9th. Rivera came in to face the top of the line-up and Kinsler singled up the middle, stole second, stole third, and Michael Young singled him home and the Rangers won 3-2.
oh and I was 35 rows behind home plate
