This. The investor rarely (if ever) actually picks what companies or investments are aggregated into the mutual funds they invest in. This has been discussed in other threads on other various topics on this board in the past.

Why should he? I would assume he's a lib. They don't have mutual funds. They wait til they piss away all they have or could plunder then legislate YOUR savings away under the guise of fairness.

There are any number of "ethical" funds that invest according to one moral precept or another. One wonders why Hobby Lobby didn't avail themselves of one of these if they're so principled.
