How can you say that, especially for a newer league like the MLS?
The reason anyone actually attends Columbus Crew games is because we have had decent success over the years. The stadium we have is already severely outdated even though it's less than 20 years old and was built soccer specific.
The only way that Columbus can compete is because of the salary cap.
Do you understand the intent and function of the cap?
There is no free market for a soccer league in the US. It would basically be a monopoly/oligopoly for a few years, all the small market teams would fold, then the remaining teams wouldn't have anyone to play and they would fold.

Also the MLS owning all the contracts needs to go
