It's a waste of time b/c it is not a balanced approach. It has no chance of passing. Having no military cuts is kind of like a democrat proposing a budget with all military cuts and tax increases. It's not going anywhere. It's a complete waste of time.

Agree. Waste of time. Quit catering to your base and propose something that has a shot in hell if you want to be taken seriously.

We need to balance this budget on the backs of the poor and the elderly. its the only solution.

and honestly 5T over 10 years is 500B a year. We need about double that.

I doubt a balanced approach is politically possible. Do you seriously believe the middle class will support doubling their tax rates?
