the Pats are the creme de la creme at ACQUIRING draft picks- not making the picks. The more picks ya have the more chance of success. So with them having some nice picks from more selections the press turns the narrative into them being a great drafting team.

What I don't like is the ease in which teams seem to be lining up to give the 9ers picks and only accepting 6th and 7th rounders back from them while giving the 9ers starters.
And they seem to do a good job with the picks.
