it's against the law to apply for an FFL for the purpose of acquiring personal firearms, you must demonstrate intent to sell firearms and the means to do so

You will be checked and your records must be kept. Prior to issuing the FFL BATFE will come to personally inspect your facility and you must be in compliance

You do not need an FFL to purchase classic firearms

Pawn shops generally have no problem getting an FFL because they have the means to sell firearms, and the necessity of keeping records is obviously not a problem

I'm pretty sure I made it clear about "going into the business", this thread is not about acquiring personal firearms, IMHO.
