1. I'm for legalization of all drugs. And opposed to any govt sponsored intervention to rehab victims. Let them die in the gutter. It's called freedom and consequences of bad choices.

2. I never tried marijuana or even cigarettes because my dad smoked cigs and it irritated my eyes and throat. My older Bro had the same experience and never smoked anything.

3. The only literature on the bad effects of marijuana that are consistent is 'lethargy.' IE, college students who smoke get lower grades than peers who do not smoke.

4. Cheech and Chong were not funny to me when they first came out. Decades later, they are still not funny at all.

I love the idealist POV, but I don't believe I could support this totally in real life.

I've tried pot but along with not liking the buzz, I really don't like smoke entering my lungs. It gives me a claustrophobic feeling.

I could see that. I could see where a general population of pot smokers would be less motivated than a general population of nonusers and thus effect the smokers grades negatively.
