Thats pretty much how I am with people here. When I was a kid Scottsdale was TINY and it was like a little desert town on the very outskirts of Phoenix! You could get land for $1000 an acre, now it would cost 500x that! I like people so I am not complaining but I can see why they might.



Yeah, Juneau is one of the most expensive cities in the US because the locals don't care for expansion, and it takes a bit of time to become recognized as "local." Found this to be true a lot of places out West. Folks who've lived there a long time want to preserve the quality of life they have.
