Forget Jameis, those broadcasters are idiots. That should be runner interference. The runner ran a step into the grass on the INSIDE of the first base line. The runner has the outside of the first base line. That's what that little chalk line 1/3 of the way towards home is. How do these broadcasters not pick up on that watching the replay?

The batter was outside the line, correctly, then he veered well in side the fouls line to run over the fielder.

Easily runner interference, and any umpire who saw the replay will agree.

fricking thank you. I was just about to post this. The runner goes out of his way to truck the shite out of the pitcher because it was the pitcher. TPOS.
