He got to 94 by upgrades. It's a true sim style league but wow. Tyrod Taylor is one who's very overrated also. Had a dude cut Manning and pick up Taylor and won the Super Bowl and MVP with him on All-Madden with sliders. In the league I'm in now he's rated 82 and doesn't start..

no switching means once the ball is in the air, you cannot switch to a different receiver/defender to make a play on the ball. You have to let the CPU catch/defend the pass. On run plays you can still switch to whoever, but as soon as the ball is in the air you can't switch. It makes ratings other than speed a factor.

Are you and Braedan in the same franchise? If so, and this:

quote:

This guy tried to trade Peyton to the Cards but failed because he wanted too much. Then the guy with TP, threw for 927 yards on CPU controlled Bengals. Users who played him in season 1 said he did not but corner routes and streaks

is true, it's not sim at all. I understand he was removed, but he would have been gone the game following the 927 passing yard game.

I understand how that could be a factor.

Nope. I'm in Fight For It. League Website

You can go look at the rules. We have a great sim style.

Don't get me wrong, the CPU makes some stupid arse mistakes, but it forces you to spend training points on other things besides speed. Plus with the implementation of the XP upgrade system, you can actually tailor a defense to your needs much faster. So if you want to run a zone defense, you can spend all your secondary points on zone defense. If you want to run man, you can bump up their man coverage, and bump skills. It really is the better way to play the football games.

Yeah, I run a 3-4 attack. Man to man is a must. I hate guys progressing so fast, that I can't afford to resign all of my 1st rounders. So, I get young, cheap free agents but I can't get my team overall grade up.

If you get a player that fits your style, it doesn't matter what overall they are. I've had 65-70 OVR QB's throw 400 yards and 5 TD's because I knew how to use them.

A qb overal rating used to be so greatly affected by his awareness but it was silly

So you have a guy physically as impressive as Peyton, but he is a rookie and his awareness is crap.

Which means in simmed games he performs like the 73ovr he is

But if you are controlling him, your awareness becomes his, so he physically prowess being equal to Peyton means that the 73ovr quarterback will perform like Peyton would for you

Do the trade and then just trade for Marcus Lattimore. He's a 74 or something but runs like a beast.

Honestly though, you could probably wreck shop w/ Gerhart or whatever free agent RB is available. There's no point to overalls for so many of the positions in that game.
