re: What was your most expensive accident?

On October 7th 1997, I was riding to school in my 1985 Team Camaro with a 383 stroker engine. Got behind a log truck and the trailer disconnected from the truck. The front of the trailer dug into the road, lifting the rear of it. My car went underneath it and then the trailer came on top of me. The logs shot forward and went through a car coming towards us, killing one passenger. I broke my leg in several places and had to be Airlifted. In the chopper, I went into shock and then cardiac arrest. Was in a coma for 11 days. Hospital bills for me eclipsed 100k. The deceased's family received a million dollar wrongful death lawsuit and I got just over 100k after hospital bills were paid. Plus that Team Camaro is a super rare car. So, I figure my accident cost around 1.3mill, give or take.
