Personally, I think he would have given up music and would have become an extremely reclusive writer.

Heroin. It makes this argument tough.

Had he lived they would have possibly been like STP. Train wreck of a singer who bounces in and out of rehab. Grohl would have left and Novaselic sp? Is just a strange dude anyway who appears happy with what he has and stay out of spotlight.

Essentially I think had he lived Cobain = Weiland. With the exception of people's perception of Nirvana as the FIRST band because Teen Spirit was the first household name song from Seattle.

This. Haven't any of you ever read his suicide letter? He felt guilty about losing his passion for music, performing and the industry itself leading up to the suicide.

Plus, Vedder is a more talented vocalist, writer, and lead man.
