This started when they moved their farm and their cows to St. Helena parish in 1997. If anything it's gotten worse since then. I stopped buying Kleinpeter years ago and have had good luck with the Shur-Fine house brand carried by the Associated Grocers. I don't know who makes it for them, but it lasts usually well past the expiry date.
