Yeah I just ignored that news. 
Cars is like an abstract painting for kids. It makes absolutely no sense.
But let's keep this on good movies...Do they bring back Syndrome?
I think they have to go big with villains, like at least 2 this time. And I wonder what the "theme" will be. The first one relied on Family and the idea of exceptionalism.

Aside from flashbacks, I don't see how they can. The guy was sucked up in a jet engine.
But Syndrome will be difficult to top. Honestly how many more successful movie villains can you name than him? He wiped out like 90% of their version of the Justice League without anyone wising up. Plus I really just love the idea of fanboy gone bad. Him nerdgasming when he was around Mr Incredible was always great.
