I am as conservative as anyone on this board. To take away anything that these men did is truely disgusting. They are great americans and deserve to be honored .

I'm not taking away from them. I'm saying if they earned it, award it to them without qualifying it by saying they didn't get it because of race. By saying that, you're admitting that they are getting it NOW because of their race. That is a dishonor to them in my opinion.

So everyone deserves the MOH?
It is not a knock on someones bravery, or honor to determine that their actions do not warrant a MOH.
The MOH, in order to retain his revered position in our country, should not be awarded too easily. Nor should it be a political pawn.
