I'm all for them trying to prevent break in's and educate those dumb enough to leave their vehicles unlocked. The only part I don't understand is leaving a failed notification on the vehicle. That makes zero sense

They can get around the "FAIL" flags by just putting the flyers in envelopes BTW. Passerbys will not know if it is a pass or fail.

What if said officer sees weed in my car that he only could have seen by opening the door? Or smells weed he wouldn't have smelled without invading my privacy?

What if my dog is in my backseat and jumps out when he opens the door and gets hit by a car or the cop reacts to the lunging dog? (I always leave my dog in the car when I go into the grocery store if the weather is nice and I can crack the windows. Talk about a burglar deterrent haha)
