The same people who are saying that the election in Crimea to join the Russians isn't fair/legal are the same dipshits that are saying that the first elections in US occupied Iraq and Afghanistan were momentous achievements.

I don't follow. Even if they were the same, what point are you trying to make by drawing their equivalence?

President Clinton made it our business when he assured Ukraine that the US and NATO would absolutely guarantee the integrity of its borders if they would give up their nukes and dismantle their army. Bush and Obama have each doubled (tripled) down on this during their administrations, by re-ratifying the pact.
