It does seem odd that we: had an excellent pass rush last year, haven't lost any pieces of that pass rush, and are adding a guy like Butler this season - yet the talking heads still question that element of our defense.

Elite teams develop their own and don't look to waste precious dollars on overrated free agents looking to cash in.
Decker was good, but he just went from being the 3rd option with Peyton to the 1st option with Geno. But he got paid so good for him. After Decker, the receiver position in free agency was abysmal.
I think Stills has the "it" factor needed in starting receivers. I'm also optimistic to see how Toon responds this season as the door is wide open for him to seize a spot on the roster that results in playing time.
But I think we will look to draft two playmakers, and they may both be receivers (one a starter and the other a weapon x who can catch screens and return punts).
