So, tell me this: How many rookie WRs make a big impact?

I can give you five from last year alone and two who weren't even 1st rounders.

Even if we pick one in the late first round, will they make a difference?

nuke, patterson, and austin made differences on their teams

The only WRs who really shine the first year are guys like Julio Jones or AJ Green.

1046 yards and 8 TDs says differently: keenan allen

WR is one of the hardest positions to really stand out in the first year. RB is one of the easiest.

for 1st year players, not as of late. overall very because you either have good vision or you don't

So, we are putting all of our eggs in draft basket hoping to find a WR in the late first round that will make a big impact in their rookie year?

redistribution and play calling are important things. look at what happened to NE last year.

NE was a mess the first half of last year. It is amazing that they won all that they did.

Historically, WR is one of the most difficult positions to make a huge impact the rookie year. Lots of misses.

Like I said, it happens. But it is really risky. And, with our window closing, I was hoping to see someone who could make an impact right away.

Hopefully the draft will work out. It is just a tough spot to be in.
