You either applied way too much, or you didn't seat your block properly (or both). Pretty likely your computer is shutting off because your CPU is overheating. Ijust pulled the whole H70 out and installed the stock heatsink/fan that came with the cpu. Going to see if that takes care of it, if it does I will just order another H70 next week and install when it gets in. I am leaning to the head of the H70 finally starting to leak after about 4 years of hard use.

Installed the stock heatsink and it has been running stable for the last hour or two at 100% cpu. The h70 head looks like it started leaking a little right around the end of it and probably wasn't working anymore. Lucky it didn't short anything else inside my case.
