Laugh now. Next spring I'll be set. I was dipping them out every pull, so I figure the population density of babies is high.

I have a pond behind my house and the alligator grass is horrid. I'm about to pull it out with an excavator and hope I can manage it with spray in the spring when is starts to pop back up. I have also thought of buying a few sacks and dumping them in to see if they flourish. Hope it works out for you

LSU used to have projections based on lbs per acre to be harvested by how many babies in a dip. 2 or more is very good. Get some pillow traps.
