That was a lie. A lie directly to a congressman at a hearing. (IDK,if Clapper was under oath so IDK if he committed perjury).
But according to our politicians on the hill, that lie is okay.
Now juxtapose Clappers actions (on the same NSA topic) to whistle blower Sowden.
Sowden, who's purpose was to expose the NSA to protect Americans from 4th amendment violations, is now enemy of the state by the same politicians that defend Clapper.
That's the picture Paul was painting.
