Fuselage is the big tube you set in, wings are well wings, tail section is the upside down T in the back of the aircraft. If it came apart at 35,000 from say an explosion of some sort more than likely the wings and that upside down T thingy would depart (leave at a high rate of speed) from the Tube thingy mostly in large pieces. Well by coming apart at say 6 miles or so in the air flying at .76 mach (think fast) it would scatter over a large area of ocean. Now think of thousands of pieces some that float and most that don't. You would see some fairly large parts still floating about. Fuel from 35,000 would be nearly atomized and you wouldn't have two big slicks. Sorry couldn't resist please excuse my attempt at humor!
