I think the Kia optimas are pretty nice as well but all of you guys keep saying "I bought my wife so and so car.." And that just enhances the stereotype I have against certain cars that seem to be driven by mostly women

With buying a new/used vehicle, it just becomes your take to you work machine. Don't worry about stereotypes, nobody cares what you drive. They are thinking about the least they can do to get by and get home faster from work.

The newness goes away after a week. At least that's the why I am. I think cars have come a long way in the last 6 to 7 years.

I drive an SUV without a note. I'd drive the hell out of our Optima as an everyday car if I didn't mind a note. I commute from Walker to downtown BR daily and my gas is right at 20mpg. The wife commutes to Bluebonnet area and she gets about 28 or 29.

Has nothing to do with Alpha/Beta to me. All about Benjamin's...
