I see very little if any improvement defensively when the bigger lineups are in the game, zone or man.

Nor do I.

I get the most frustrated when Jordan, Jarrell and Tim move to cover a player and then for some inexplicable reason leave them again. JOB can be a guilty party on that to at times, but at least he does try to break up screens occasionally.

I've come to the conclusion that only defense I like LSU executing is the FC press. They should do it for short periods throughout a game IMO, even if we do have a short bench.

Yeah Brit, ithas been extremely frustrating seeing the same mistakes on ball screens over and over again all year.

And that's where Morgan being out hurts the most. He and Coleman together on the press were outstanding. It just isn't as consistently effective without those two out there together.

Whatever talent we have next year I think we need to re-think our defensive philosiphy or how we are teaching it and/or holding kids accountable for it, because there IMHO is a disconnect there.
