re: Electric Dog Fence

I put in about 8 acres and want to say it was around $400. The wire isn't that expensive, but do get a heavier guage. You don't want to be hunting breaks on such a large area.

We rented a trencher that opened a narrow 2" deep cut. Dug the trench, laid the wire, filled in the trench (really just tamped down the dirt), and set up the receiver in about 10 hours over two days. It was a lot of work but gave the dog a large area to roam. It's been a great investment.
