I bailed on it completely last summer. It was a great move. But now I do find myself checking twitter, Instagram, Vine, TD more often. There are just so many better social media platforms than Facebook.

Its deleting a facebook account, not moving to Africa and living in the desert.
This is an attention whore thread, right?

Sorta. And if you want to make it an attention whore thread, it could be. But without it, I'm probably taking myself out of my social information circle, if that really exists. At least, to some degree. It'll probably be weird, but I think it'll be pretty liberating.

I got rid of it last week but it was because it makes juggling multiple women too difficult. No matter what the reason for ditching it is, it feels refreshing not constantly checking it out of habit

Giving up facebook for lent
The whole meaning of Lent is abstaining, fasting, prayer, and repenting of sins. It's a time to bring yourself closer to God. If Facebook time is getting in the way of this then you should give it up, but not because you are just ready to "bail on it" and think it's dumb.

God has a twitter account. It is pretty entertaining.

I got rid of it a few months back. You'll still talk with the ones that matter. I personally enjoy life without social media.

but don't want to be all attention whorish and make some fruity "goodbye" post.
Why would you even have to do this?
