re: What was the best/favorite thing that happen while you were a student?

In 1968, following many protests concerning the "two year mandatory ROTC for all male students" policy, the ROTC building just south of the stadium mysteriously burned down. Shortly thereafter, LSU rescinded this over-100 year policy. I was a sophomore that year. (Yes, I am an old fart.)
