Yeah, I think this started in 2005. Every person over 10 years old I believe.

We have annual passes and my wife's best friends asked if they could use our daughters when they went for Mardi Gras (since there is no fingerprint scan for her), but I refused.

I remember having to do it for the first time in 05. It was my first trip in a few years and I was thinking WTF

I hadn't either until this past September. We were asked several times on our last trip.
I guess it's a little more prevalent since the Magic Bands started testing.
