We asked if we could substitute a house salad for the desert and they acted like we were asking to see a threesome between Mickey, Donald and Minnie.

I didn't have a meal plan, but on a pre-paid dinner they had no problem adding on and special making a house salad for the older girl as she likes salads with everything. They also brought her carrot sticks too.

They even offered to switch out my entree after I told the server the other entree my SO had was one of the best things I had tasted.

People are fat because of choice. There is no "Oh McDonald's is so fattening that's why I'm fat"
People who are fat, are fat because they don't burn enough calories for what they consume and it's as easy as that.

People flock to the meal plan because they think they are getting a value, but they're really not and it offers VERY little in terms of flexibility.

Oh I'm with you brother. I just think it would be nice to have something other than a 1,000 calorie desert at every sit down meal. Even on the counter meals everything came with a desert. Maybe I'm too healthy but does the general public expect some sort of fricking desert at every meal? I hope this is just Disney being a little over the top and not the expectations of Americans now.
