My weber is almost 20 years old. Burners and burner covers have been replaced one time. I think it was about hundred bucks. I grill a lot and pretty good about cleaning grill and pan. The cover ALWAYS goes back on as soon as grill is cool enough.

Just a heads up....that 20 year old Weber is leagues above today's tinny junk.
