Most drinks have about 19 different ways to make then that someone along the way will tell you is the "correct" way and swear by it.

As a bartender I've learned to tell every single one of them they're right and make each drink according to customer. No reason to argue over which recipe is the correct one.

I prefer, 2 sugar cubes soaked in 5 dashes of bitters, splash of water to wet the cubes a little more so they can dissolve. 2 cherries 1 orange slice with peel, all muddled to a mush. Ice and makers on top, stir. Can't beat it IMO.


And as for calling someone out over a drink, c'mon man... For real?
