I have never understood why people make a big deal about this place. The neighborhood isn't even that bad of an area, it's just an old motel. It's like people have formed this stigma about it being some crime infested crack den that is risky to even drive near.

Not abandoned. In fact it just got a new sign w/ lights on it.
It received a lot of protection when Staring was being redone. In fact, they worked the road around it.
