Well, generally, the person who has the baby is the one who disappears.. rightfully so, as they're now busy being a parent.
Your friends are probably giving you space to do that.
I find it a reason for concern that you're 2 weeks into fatherhood and you've actually noticed your friends aren't hanging out.

Probably because all you talk about is your fricking kid or your new life with your kid.
Quick tip: no one gives a frick about anyone's kid except their own.
