Do you think if he hadn't pulled the shocker to stay in college last year and was on the board at six the Pellies would've pulled the trigger on Marcus Smart and kept him?

I realize he's had a disappointing season but I still think that would've been the best possible outcome. Smart, AD, Rivers, and Andersen to build around whatever pick you'd have gotten this offseason.

I think so he was the best pg prospect and we we're going to draft Trey Burke but I think the magic would of picked him up 2nd

Please don't empower Bill Simmons and use "Pellies" as a nickname

No big deal. Philly will have a starting lineup of:

MCW
Gary Harris
Jabari Parker
Thadd young
Noel

6th man: spencer hawes

With cap space to sign multiple max contracts

Would really like to acquire Young somehow.

A tweener 3/4 that would fit well with Anderson - allowing Ryno to take the less offensive four on defense.

Makes a living on offense slashing to the goal w/o the ball and getting out in transition.

An ideal fit to fill out the front line.

if we take young we also take his attitude, which is a little unstable at times. monty wouldnt be able to handle him, just another reason to get rid of him

Damn. 6ers will have a lot of $ this offseason. Let's see what happens. Maybe they'll sign bosh to a huge contract to play PF next to noel. Definitely signing someone

I know its early but Im not sure if we did too well in the trade. I thinking the Tyreke signing really hurt too cause were so locked up between him and Gordon. I wouldnt mind doing something similar to Washington and just roll with AD and Jrue as centerpieces.

Gee, ya think?

Anybody who knows anything about NBA bashes the Pelicans when the terms came out that night.

People here bitch enough about having SFs like Evans and Aminu who can't shoot. Just imagine adding a PG with zero range.

Giannis Antetokounmpo would look pretty good as our starting SF for years to come, yes?

Smart would have had no chance under Monty, he would be on the bench or dangled at the trade deadline.
