After seeing the climit they put these games in, Charlotte should really consider hosting the Winter Games. Close to mountains, similar climit, and prolly would of given a lot more snow this year. Hell even Richmond or Roanoke could think about. Not sure how the mountainess areas compare, but all 3 of those cities are close to ski resorts. Or maybe even Charleston, WV. That can't be too far from Snowshoe which is decent size resort.

Charleston just isn't able to pull off something like that. I think Philadelphia could be a great winter olympics host. They're not too far from the Poconos and they have already the transportation and infrastructure to support it. They'd need to build a high-speed train or something to the mountains, but they wouldn't have to build hotels or anything
