I remember most Games being held in July. Hurricane season wouldn't be a problem, but the weather would be terrible. I think for a Southern host, Dallas would be the most likely. NYC could be another candidate for a US city.
I suspect with the new Olympic sponsorship agreement between the USOC and the IOC, we will get a Summer and Winter games in quick succession. I'm hoping for Denver 2026 and Dallas/NYC 2028 or 2032. I was hoping we would bid for 2022, as the bidders for those Games are so fricking weak. Probably the weakest it's ever been.
