Officials said the president of the Livingston Parish School Board was sentenced to a suspended 90-day jail term after pleading no contest Friday to hit and A representative with the Office of the Louisiana Attorney General reported Malcolm Sibley pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor hit and run charge in connection with a deadly crash that happened June 15, 2013 in St. Helena Parish. Judge Bob Morrison also sentenced Sibley to two years of probation, a $500 fine and court costs. Sibley was ordered to complete four 8-hour days of community service, complete a court-approved defensive driving course and pay a $50 monthly monitoring fee to probation and parole.
