kind of funny how all of these types of stories begin with the pedestrian not being cooperative or being a smart arse. I'm not condoning what some of these cops do, but I imagine that 9 times out of 10, if you just showed them some respect, these situations wouldn't escalate like they tend to do.

The video doesn't show what caused her detainment. One would have to assume she wasn't hooked for jaywalking and not producing an ID.

Do you automatically respect random people walking on the street? If not, then why would you automatically respect some cop?

How about the cops showing some fricking respect and leaving her the frick alone? She's fricking jogging, who the frick is she hurting?
