I'll define "it" as any theistic explanation. If I'm teaching all of the steps known in evolution or at least strongly implied, it would seem to me that an atheist can think that's all there is and that a theist can think that God caused all of those steps.

In that way, evolution really is no different than any other scientific class. If I point out the atomic properties of Iron and a students stands up and says, "I think God caused those specific properties", how is that different than if I'm teaching about what has been learned regarding evolution?
