La Reyna
Pocorello's (cash only and don't dare ask for french fries or a lemon in your water)

I second this...

Tostones and pupusa for appetizer
Eat the pickled veggies...whether you think you like them or not.
Puerco Guisado or mole...or fish tacos....or platonos.

Try to get the waitress who isn't fluent in English but incredibly well spoken. Sweetest most honest people ever.

Left a pair of sunglasses there for months. As soon as I walked in, she set them on my table. The wife left hers the same day, same thing two days later when we went back. Good people.

Jasmine's is good, but I did have a bad meal there the other day, sad because its top three in baton rouge. Though I hate the chalmation with the annoying fake accent.

Thai chili is good. Their drunken noodles extra spicy and Asian chili wings are the bomb.

Pluckers isn't bad either...if you know the right sauce combos to.mix. bakers gold and garlic Parm. Bakers gold and sesame (tastes like general tso chicken). Fire in the hole with cinnamon and sugar (called the BigRed)

The meatball sub. At mellow mushroom is way better than it has any right to be.

Buzz cafe downtown used to do a great breakfast...but I haven't been in a long while.

We eat out once a week to break from clean foods...I go just about everywhere.

Glenda's over in breaux bridge is the current favorite.
