And no, he isn't terrible. He wasn't a good number one option but he will be a great option off the bench.

He can't shoot. He's not a productive player. His WS/48 is .025. He's terrible. His PER isn't even average and that's with a artificial bump from increased usage in Philly.

Maybe he'll turn his game around, but this is like saying the Heat are stacked because they signed Michael Beasley. It's silly talk.

For a guy off the bench, Turner is awesome. For a 6th man, hes awesome.

Hes going to be playing point forward for the Pacers... which is what hes great at. 6'7 and can dish the ball really well and rebound.

If you dont think this was a good move and improves the Pacers a lot... i dont know what to tell you.

Danny Granger is not some sacred cow that's putting up gaudy or even passable stats anymore. So it isn't like the are losing a big piece besides an old Lebron-instigator.

And ET is shooting %42 this year while shooting an increased load from last year. So he's not as arse as people thinks he is.

Like most non-stars, wouldn't he benefit in efficiency going to a team where ET will be Peter-Principled to a role where he has to carry less of the weight because the talent around him is better. Its kind of like the USC QB complex, he'll look better when he has above-avg (relative to the league) talent surrounding him.
