Actually, I don't rule out this interpretation at all. It's not uncommon for people to resist admitting that a decision made (e.g.,Crowton, Stud) was a bad one. Miles has been criticized for vacillating on players, coaches, and obviously in game management. But I think he's very comfortable with Cameron's performance at this point. He's got the right guy now and will let him run the offense, as I see it.

I also don't see Rettig as out of the picture. It's entirely possible we will see more than one QB taking snaps in a game, depending on the situation.
